Design: Long read data collected for de novo assembly of great ape sample Kamilah (gorilla.) Genomic high-molecular-weight DNA was extracted at UW from an EB transformed fibroblast cell line. PacBio libraries were prepared and sequenced at UW with Covaris g-TUBE shearing at 20 kbp, SMRTBell Express Template Prep Kit v2, and SageELF size fractionation. Pooled fractions (15kb) were sequenced on a Sequel II system using Sequel II chemistry 2.0, 30 minute movies, and 3 hour pre-extension.
